Real Change, Real Executive Experience
The chosen one voted “present” nearly 130 times during his career as a state senator in Illinois. The left-leaning New York Times confirmed that it “shows at least 36 times when Mr. Obama was either the only state senator to vote present or was part of a group of six or fewer to vote that way. ” Voting present is certainly change we can all believe in. As the eleventh governor of Alaska and the first woman to hold the office, Palin’s administration (in its first legislative session) “passed two major pieces of legislation– an overhaul of the state’s ethics laws and a competitive process to construct a gas pipeline.” After nineteen months of political pandering, Obama has failed to highlight one piece of substantive legislation that he either authored or co-authored. Palin’s executive experience includes serving two terms as the mayor/manager of Wasilla, Alaska and her almost two years as the Governor of Alaska. The chosen one’s self-proclaimed executive experience includes being a “community organizer” (apparently a highly coveted position among income redistributionistas).
