Federal Jury Sees Video of Jefferson Accepting Suitcase Filled With $100,000

The federal jury in William Jefferson’s case had an opportunity to view the video of the former DEMOCRAT congressman from Louisiana accepting a suitcase filled with $100,000 outside of a hotel located in northern Virginia. Recall that Jefferson used his freezer as an ATM machine to store $90,000 in cash. Fortunately for his constituents, they ousted him from office in December 2008 by electing Republican Anh “Joseph” Cao.
