The man who is a heartbeat away from the Presidency provided America with unique insight into his idiocracy. The most recent Bidenism was articulated yesterday in Virginia:
Vice President Biden defended the Obama administration’s economic stimulus package Thursday by suggesting that without the federal government spending massive amounts of money to shore up the economy the country would go bankrupt.
“We’re going to go bankrupt as a nation,” Biden warned at an event in the backyard of the House’s No. 2 Republican.
“People, when I say that, look at me and say, ‘What are you talking about, Joe? You’re telling me we have to go spend money to keep from going bankrupt?” he said. “The answer is yes.” SOURCE
Try using some Biden logic with your own family budget. If you only have $100 in your checking account go ahead and spend $200. According to VP Joe, after a few months of using his economically brilliant strategy, you will be one of those “rich” people he and Chairman MAObama want to tax out of existence!
Recall that both the VP gaffe machine, and Chairman MAObama campaigned under the premise of how “bad” the economy was. Remember “change” and “yes we can”? After the stimulus-palooza failed to jump start the economy and unemployment hovers close to 10%, Biden now attempts to assert “We” misread the economy.
Obama invoke’s the socialist doctrine of “spreading the wealth.”
Joe Biden doesn’t have any “Joe the Plumbers” in his neighborhood. Biden’s residence is located in northern Delaware’s most expensive area. His 7,000 square-foot, custom built, lake front home has a reported value of at least $2.5 million dollars.
In his interview with Katie Couric, Biden asserted the following:
“Part of what a leader does is to instill confidence…demonstrate that he or she knows what they are talking about…and communicates to people and if you listen to me and follow what I am suggesting, we can fix this …When the stock market crashed, Franklin Roosevelt got on the television and didn’t just talk about the princes of greed. He said, ‘look, here’s what happened.”
Biden’s gaffes: Even a cursory review of history reveals that when the market crashed in 1929, television was non-existent and Hoover was the President. In 1928, FDR became the Governor of New York. He was not elected the 32nd President of the United States until November 8, 1932.
Remember, The Tax Patriot has a “much higher IQ”, and he “went to law school” so don’t question his historical analysis. Just listen and follow his suggestions.
It is ironic that as the one-man gaffe machine is talking, the sign “CHANGE WE NEED” looms in the background. What type of change? The Obama ad, which criticized John McCain’s computer skills, failed to explain that the horrendous injuries Senator McCain received as a prisoner of war (“POW”) at the hands of his North Vietnamese captors prevents him from typing on a keyboard. Mocking a POW who served this country is not change we need.
While contributing less than 1% to charity in the last 10 years, Senator Biden (D-DE) believes paying higher taxes is “patriotic”. He is the gift that keeps on giving to the Republican party. I watched the first video below in disbelief as the income redistributionistas stand up and applaud a campaign policy which will lead to further economic woes.
You would expect the Senator who extols the virtue of paying higher taxes as “patriotic” would feel the same about charitable contributions. After publicly releasing a decade’s worth of tax returns, the Bidens’ reported income to the IRS last year was $319,853. The $995 they donated to charity represented 0.3%of their total income (not even 1%). Over the past ten years, the self-proclaimed patriot donated a total of $3,690. This represented a mere 0.2% of the income reported. Again, not even 1%.
The Chicago Daily Observer reported that both Barack Obama and his vice-presidential nominee Joe Biden voted for the “Bridge to Nowhere”. Thus, it has now been confirmed that the democratic duo voted for it before they made speeches against it. Apparently Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK) provided both democrats with a second opportunity to vote against the bridge when he proposed shifting that earmark money towards Katrina relief. I can’t wait for the Obama campaign’s response to this revelation.
